3rd Challenge Cup in Ljubljana: Zonderland on Top!

After the Challence Cup Events in Cottbus (GER) and Doha (QAT) now the third event of this F.I.G. circuit took place in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. Top scorer at the final day there was the "Flying Dutchman", Olympic Champion Epke ZONDERLAND, who won the high bar final with 15,700 points, the highest scor of this weekend, in front of Nicolas CORDOBA from Argentina (15,00) and Bart DEURLOO (NED; 14,850). Also a special highlight at the first final day, at Easter Saturday, was the victory on vault by the oldest top gymnast of the world, the extraordinary Oksana CHUSOVITINA (UZB; 14,600); after Cottbus it was her second Challenge cup success of this year, already! On second day the Canadian Isabela Maria ONYSHKO won the beam fianal (14,075) in front of the two Brasilan girls Lorrane Dos Santos (13,525) and Julie Kim Sinmon (13,225)
