Acrobatic Gymnastics: World Age Group Competitions 2014

From July 02 to July 05, 2014 took place the so-called "World Age Group Competitions of Acrobatic Gymnastics 2014" in the Paris suburb of Levallois, in the there 'Palais des Sports Marcel Cerdan. There are organized by the World Gymnastics Federation F.I.G. as "World Junior Championships", which are divided in the three age categories 13-19 years, 12-18 years and 11-16 years .
After the qualifying rounds on Saturday stood by each 8 best formations in the Finals of the following disciplines:
- Women's pairs, - Men's pairs - Mixed pairs - Women's groups & Men's groups.

After completion of the age group competitions on Saturday, July 4, 2014 this world junior championship of  acrobatic gymnastics went with the overwhelming success of the two top nations Russia and Britain to end, who won only 16 of the 17 gold medals!
Only Portugal yet registered for the age group 13-19 with one gold medal.
* Russia took 9 titles, and each 4 gold or bronze;
* The British ended with 7 successes as well as four silver and two bronze medals from.
* Portugal took 1 gold and 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Overall, six more countries contributed in the medals table:
* Belgium with 3x silver / 2 bronze;
* Belarus (-/2/2);
* USA (-/2/1);
* Ukraine (-/1/4) and
* Kazakhstan (-/1/1).
