Zito Challenge Cup in Osijek

After Cottbus (GER ), Doha ( QAT) and last week in Ljubljana (SLO), now the "Zito Challenge Cup 2014" in Croatian Osijek is already the fourth competition of this F.I.G. series this year, which will be completed on Sunday with Part II of the apparatus finals. At theEnd of May, then follows the Challenge Cup in Anadia, Portugal and last but not least in August in Ghent, Belgium.
On the first day of the Osijek's final (Saturday ) there were two Croatian hosts victory in men's categorie by Tomislav MARKOVIC on the ground, tied referred the Halle Matthias Fahrig and Alexander Shatilov (ISR ) in second place , as well as by Filip UDE on the horse , where Waldemar Eichorn (GER ) only was eighth. The ingot victory went once more to veteran Mitja PETKOVSEK, Germany's Matthias Fahrig came on sixth. On second final day Matteo MORANDI (ITA) won on rings, Tomi TUUHA (FIN) on Vault and Marijo MOZNIK won the third title for Croatia, together with Alexander SHATILOV on high bar.
The first day for the women was dominated by Asian art of gymnastics : Taking the vault success PHAN , Ha Thi Than from Vietnam, secured the Giulia Steingruber pointed from Switzerland in second place. Uneven best was the North Korean YONG MI, Kang. The two Swiss citizens Steingruber ( 6th ) and Ilaria Käslin ( 8th ) could not land on front seats here, but on final day Giulia STEINGRUBER was the best on floor and Vietnam's PHAN Ha Thi Than got the second title on balance beam ...
