The Uzbekistan's capital’s Gymnastics Palace is to host April 7-14, 2014, the 13th Junior Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships. This continental championship is the only qualifying start of the season for the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
19 federations were present in the boys team finals, all-around final and individual qualifications competed in 3 subdivisions and the spectators stay until the end of the third subdivision to know the final results with the success of Japanese Team ( IWASA Ryo , ARAYASHIKI Hibiki , KATO Yuto , TANAKA Tatsuki and KITAMURA Fumiya ) won the team final of the 13th ART Gymnastics Asian Championships which held in Tashkent (UZB) during 10-13 April 2014, with a Team total of 248.900 points ahead of China (245.300 pts) (HU Xuwei , MA Yue , TA Yinga , WEN Weichong and CHANG Hongming ) - Silver and the Uzbekistan, taking the Bronze (236.500 pts) (KADIROV Timur , ISLOMOV Elyor , SAIDUMAROV Aziz , SODIKOV Khamid and FOZILOV Mirabzal ).

Japanese boys was best on all apparatus, China performed exceptionally well were sitting in second position, pressing Uzbekistan to fight for the Silver. It was one of the most exciting Junior Asian Championships Finals seen in Men's Gymnastics! The Japanese gymnasts proved that they are the best team at the moment! They had the highest start values, and this made the difference for them; in spite of some small mistakes, they were also very stable. You will remember some of these names in the future competing in the senior events. All-Around Final was interested and very exciting until last apparatus which only 0.1 pts give the gold medal for the Chinese TA Yinga with 82.500 pts followed by the Japanese KATO Yuto with a total of 82.400 pts silver and third ARAYASHIKI Hibiki JPN with 82.350 pts.

On Friday the Japanese girls topped China, followed also by Uzbekistan.
The event is the third qualifier of four qualifiers to the II Youth Olympiad, following events for Africa and the Americas. In Tashkent, up to nine females and 10 males can earth berths for their nations to the Youth Olympics, which takes place in August in Nanjing, China. The fourth and final qualifier is next month's Junior European championships in Sofia.
