After a marathon competition since Saturday morning 9.30 clock and after three subdivisions at a record participation of 31 teams representing 22 nations at the 19th International Junior Team Cup 2014 in the German capital Berlin - 12 hours later was this the the result:
After 2011 there is the second time a victory of a BRITISH Junior Team with 247.400 points, followed by BELGIUM (243.750) and the boys from JAPAN (242.759).
Behind of the two SWISS teams (I + II) occupied host Germany I rank 6 with 236.000 points.
According to the German junior national coach, Jens Milbradt, "... this was certainly the highest class tournament's in the history of this traditional team cup!"
Specially the winner of the youth age group (15/16 years), Gianni REGINI-MORAN, who scored 82,850 in all-around and the highest points of the day (floor exercises: 15,100 (!) ), and all the Britsh boys demonstrated the top level technical education, but with all the other gymnasts also an extraordinarirly high standard of this international junior competition.
