The final day of the 2014 British Championships at Echo Arena, Liverpool saw the chance for medals across apparatus finals and in the disability all-around events.In the senior women’s apparatus finals Rebecca Tunney the all-around champion from Saturday was again in masterful form. Rebecca’s bars routine was one of the highlights of a fantastic women’s competition as she produced a near faultless performances to score a mighty 15.400 for the gold. Rebecca Downie followed closely scoring 15.100 and Claudia Fragapane was in bronze - the podium matching the all-around top three - Claudia scoring 13.950.
Kelly Simm powered to the vault gold scoring a 14.225 average over her two routines. Claudia Fragapane again impressed taking silver (14.000) with Scottish Commonwealth Game hopeful Emma White in bronze with 13.950.
* On beam Rebecca Downie continued her extremely strong showing at these British Championship with a confident routine to take the gold (15.140) closely followed by Hannah Whelan with 15.050, Rebecca Tunney claiming her second apparatus medal to take the bronze with 14.050.
Welsh gymnast Lizzie Beddoe took the floor gold, impressive dance and artistic performance helping her to score 13.250 with Emily Crowe in silver with 13.200 and Hannah Whelan taking bronze with 13.100.

* On Men's side Max Whitlock (photo: on pommel horse) won the all-around competition with a total score of 89,00 points, followed by Daniel Purvis (87,200) and Daniel Keatings (87,050):
For the men Sunday was the ‘Masters’ which saw the top 8 qualifying gymnasts on each piece compete regardless of age for the apparatus titles, this gives the opportunity for some of the most promising juniors to test themselves against established seniors.
* Starting on floor Max Whitlcok demonstrated his superb twisting tumbles and expressive ‘breakdance’ like flair work to score a brilliant 15.600 for gold. Giarrni-Regini Moran the under-16 all-around champion excelled against the seniors performing brilliantly for silver (15.033) with Reiss Beckford and Frank Baines tying for the bronze scoring 14.566.

* Next up was the pommel horse was the most highly anticipated master finals as Olympic medal winners Louis Smith and Max Whitlock battled for the gold with European Champion Daniel Keatings. And it was Dan who rose to the occasion, all the boys going for highly difficult routines and Dan kept his nerve to score a personal best 16.133 with Max in silver (15.966) and Louis unfortunately losing momentum mid routine taking him to bronze with 14.733.
* On to rings and Max Whitlock this time demonstrated his power and precision to score 14.933 for his second masters gold. Dan Purvis the all-around silver medal winner placed in silver with 14.566 with Sam Oldham and Theo Seager both scoring 14.400 to share the bronze.
* Sam Oldham went even better on vault with his two well executed passes averaging to score him an impressive 14.566 for the gold medal. Young star Giarrni-Regini Moran (14.333) placed in silver with another superb performance from the junior champions to take medals against his senior rivals with Dom Cunningham taking the bronze with 14.166.
* Dan Keatings again took top spot as we moved on to the parallel bars. Dan demonstrating his great depth of talent across all pieces of apparatus with a tight routine to score 16.000 with Dan Purvis taking the silver 15.566 and Max Whitlock adding to his medal haul in bronze with 15.033.
* The spectacular high bar competition was last up with Kristian Thomas taking the gold, wowing the crowd with his huge skills catching and releasing the bar for 14.600. Ashley Watson placed in silver scoring 14.466 with Sam Oldham claiming his third medal in bronze with 14.300.
* British special ...:
The disability titles were a closely fought battle. Britain’s top three girls and top seven men were invited to compete and put stunning displays in front of the packed crowd. In the end it was Alexander Buesnel who took the men’s gold with an all-around score of 72.865.
The women’s crown went to Georgie Carslaw who narrowly beat halfway leader Stacie Ridley to the top spot with a winning score of 39.550.
The junior women’s apparatus finals were shared amongst some of the most promising British girls all hoping to put in top performances with the junior European Championships coming up in May.
Teal Grindle impressed with her confident and composed beam routine for gold with Tyesha Mattis demonstrating all her power and skill to take the bars crown. Catherine Lyons showed beautiful choreography and artistic performance in her floor routine whilst Amy Tinkers powerful precise tumbling equally impressed to give them both the share of the title. Tyesha again took the gold in the vault finals with a confident double twisting Yurchenko scoring 14.150.
