The 2013 Glasgow World Cup will be back at Emirates Arena on Saturday 7 December with another star-studded line-up of international gymnasts battling for medals. Taking place shortly after the 2013 World Championships in Antwerp, the event will be a fantastic opportunity to see many of the world’s best gymnasts live in action on home soil. After DTB-Cup in Stuttgart last week it's No. two all-around world cup in the new circuit 2013/14. The 2013 event will introduce a new compact competition format, that will see the men’s and women’s all-around competitions combined into a single session, that will take place at the family friendly (local time) time of 1.00 – 4.30pm.
Last year’s event saw it go down to the wire between Britain’s Dan Purvis and Olympic silver medallist Marcel Nyugen.

It’s also great to have the event ahead of the Commonwealth Games next year; hopefully it will get everybody in the spirit.”
* The all-around competition sees the male gymnasts compete across six apparatus and the women over four, with every routine counting to the final total.
