* GYMfamily EventGerman Double Victory at Hamburg Gymnastics 2012

Full bleachers with more than 2,000 spectators at the IV. International HAMBURG GYMNASTICS 2012 ensured breathtaking atmosphere, transformed the Hamburger Sports Hall Wandsbek into a true turn-Arena at this weekend.
The gymnasts from 10 nations and altogether 19 teams played with jumps, flips and graceful movements on the four apparatus  floor, uneven bars, balance beam and vault all facets of the Olympic gymnastics categories.
The hotly contested "Hamburg Team Trophy" was able to secure in a furious competition with 103.5 points the German club "Turnerschaft Großburgwedel", the team of theGerman  Olympian Lisa-Katharina Hill, who was best of all-around.
 Also, the local hero inside of  "Turn-Team Hamburg" convinced and reached with 0.2 points ahead the Dutch "Turning Spirit Amsterdam" - 3rd place last year - now on second rank.
Behind the three leadership teams from Germany and the Netherlands the favorit from the "U.S.-All-Star team Region 7 II" occupied at the end on  fourth rank ...

<< The highest score on vault secured Isabell Marquard from Turn-eam Hamburg (*born 1995).
The Hamburg-born Isabelle Marquard, who trains in Chemnitz, it is a matter of honor to start at the Hamburg Gymnastics:
"It's great to do gymnastics so many people for the gymnastics team Hamburg. The audience give us the feeling to be stars. I hope to be there again in 2013! "

Chief-Organizer of the event, Petra Schulz, Executive Board Member of the Organizing Association for Physical Education and Recreation Hamburg eV. (VTF), sees the great development of the Hamburg Gymnastics great potential pick one European or World Championship in Hamburg:
"The Hamburg Gymnastics have established a national and international firm. This is a validation of our approach. The high power density and the large attendances thrills the hearts turn up and moves the turn sports into the spotlight. We want to continue in 2013".

The ranks 4 - 8 will start in the main round on Saturday again by properly. The winner of this round will determine who joins the TOP 3 of the first round in the final.
The ranks 9-18 complete in the Lucky Loser Round fighting for the last place in the TOP FIVE FINAL.
 
As part of the first round were also scores instead of the age cohorts 2000, 1997-1999 and 1996 and older.

Among the Young Stars (born 2000) Sim Doberenz of theTS Grossburgwedel excelled with a score of 38.45.
