ISLAND starts first on floor, followed by GBR performing on tumbling. The team from SWE enters third to present their routine on trampet and so on.
The Danish were of course loudly welcomed and applauded by their home crowd. The teams pass one after the other one at the three different apparatus: floor, tumbling and trampet.
On floor, the whole group presents a choreography mixing artistic and acrobatic elements.
The gymnasts show flips, twists, saltos, balance and power elements…
For tumbling and trampet, the gymnasts of a same team perform closely one after each other. They perform their routine accompanied by music which makes the spectacle even more attractive. The atmosphere is catching and one can see some of the spectators moving and dancing on their chair!
It is actually very impressive to see these young gymnasts lining up and performing so closely one after each other, hurrying to clear the landing area for their teammates.

France soon takes the lead of the competition with a very nice exercise on floor, loudly applauded by the spectators.
But the favourites take over the control again and it is finally the Danish team who, in front of their home crowd, secures the 1st qualifying rank ahead of Norway and Sweden.

Iceland also showed great gymnastics and became second followed by the Denmark, Finland, Norway and Germany.
This means goodbye to the Women's Teams from Great Britain, Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
