The German "Turn-Club 72" in  Leverkusen invites for now 37th edition of the International Leverkusen Cup 2012 in female artistic gymnastics on Saturday, September 8 (6.00 pm), in the Smidt ARENA.
In the Olympic disciplines of vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercises in this year a number of international participants with their teams from England, Holland, Russia and South Africa expected the hosts from Germany. Last year more than 1,600 visitors ensured a breathtaking atmosphere in the Leverkusen Smidt Arena, top class exercises of the gymnasts ...

The Leverkusen-Cup is an international team event of the female artistic gymnastics with integrated individual ranking.
Three gymnasts form a team.
The top two vote per unit count for the team score.
The all-around winner of the team classification will receive the "Leverkusen Cup Challenge Cup" - most recently in 2011 awarded to Italy.
Each gymnast gymnastics one freestyle all-around after the individual  best gymnast of the competition will be the winner of the Leverkusen-Cup .
The scoring rules are based on the currently valid "Code of Points" of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the Gymnastic equipment from the German company "B ä n f e r" meet the highest international standard.

So far, about 96 teams from 41 nations from all five continents at the Leverkusen Cup were guests.

- Lara Wondrak, German Youth Vice Champion 2011 in the all-around, jump, and on the uneven bars,
- Annabelle Woods and with - Christina Kuhn.
* England to travel with
-  Iona Theobald, Masie Doods and Yasmin Reed and Yang and  the
* Netherlands with strong gymnasts Evie Schellens, Denise Bressers and Dana de Groot,
Also of the gymnasts of the top gymnastics nation from Russia and South Africa are expected to peak performance that will offer spectators an exciting contest to the last device.
