LUISINA R O S A S, ArgentinaThe first Latin American joining Wheel Gymnastics Worlds
To the first time in history a Latin American competitor will take part at World Championships of Wheel Gymnastics. which will held this year in Germany (Ansbach Mai 31 - June 05).
<< Luisina ROSAS recently made it through the qualifications by reaching the required score at the 2011 USA Open Wheel Gymnastics Championships, on March 12th, 2011.
Luisina placed 2nd all-around in the Women’s category for the second consecutive year.
Her routines, specifically spiral and vault, seem to have very good chances of reaching the finals at the World Championships this June.
Luisina Rosas is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She started training at the age of 6, first as a gymnast, and then later moved to study Circus Arts when she was 15. At 14 she saw her first wheel gymnastics performance, and immediately began to search for classes in the sport classes in Buenos Aires

No classes were readily available, since the development of the wheel gymnastics as a sport is nearly non-existent in Argentina and Latin America.
Luisina finally started wheel lessons under the Director of Espacio Zero Circus School, Leandro Aita.
In less than one year, thanks to her exceptional talents, Luisina was already performing and coaching students all around Argentina. She reached the highest level within the Wheel Gymnastics field in her country, but that wasn’t enough for Luisina’s desire to succeed.
Even though nobody in Argentina was capable to give her further wheel gymnastics education, that didn’t stop Luisina from pursuing her dream of becoming an outstanding wheel gymnastics coach and performer world-wide.
Luisina has been living in the USA since August of 2009, after being personally invited by the 8-time World Champion Wolfgang Bientzle to train under him. He was struck by her exceptional ability, extensive experience, and remarkable personal drive.
Since that time she has been actively volunteering all over Chicago and its suburbs with the USA Wheel Gymnastics Federation as a certified coach, as well as a professional performer.
As Assistant National Coach of the USA and with Mr. Bientzle, Luisina is co-leading an amazing and unique wheel gymnastics program, which is helping develop, grow, and improve both the sport and spectacle of wheel gymnastics in the USA and the world.
Due to her efforts this program is becoming very successful because it embraces the large Latin-American Community, thanks primarily to Luisina’s bilingual skills.
Now a much larger segment of gymnasts have access to certified wheel gymnastics coaching.
Because of this, it is expected that in the near future there will continue to be increased diversity in competition and artistic wheel gymnastics worldwide.
