Daria Yelizarova won the Svetlana Invitational in Houston

* Intern. gymnast  reports about the "BOGINSKAYA INVITATIONAL 2011", which was held last weekend in Houston, Texas (USA).
The competition was organized by and named for three-time Olympian Svetlana BOGINSKAY of Belarus.
Boginskaya, the 1989 world all-around champion, has lived in Texas since 1993. Competing under Level 10 scoring, Daria YELIZAROVA captured the senior title with 38.850.
Yelizarova, who won the 2006 Junior European all-around while competing for Russia, has represented Uzbekistan since last fall. Rachel Abrams, who trains at Texas club Rowland-Ballard Gymnastics, finished second ahead of 2008 Olympian Luiza Galiulina. Oksana Chusovitina (35) - Boginskaya's teammate at the 1991 Worlds and 1992 Olympic Games - competed two events for Germany....

Chusovitina, who turns 36 in June, is also the head coach for Uzbekistan.

Russian juniors Viktoria Kuzmina and Daria Spiridonova went 1-2 in the junior all-around.
Both gymnasts were born in 1998.
