Passing of veteran gymnastics photographer Patrick Tower

Today the gymnastics world mourns the untimely passing of the popular gymnastics photographer Patrick TOWER of USA.
Patrick Tower covered many major Olympic, FIG and UEG championship events around the world spanning from 1998 Goodwill Games New York to his most recent work at the World Championships 2010 Rotterdam.
In addition Patrick was an accredited EP photographer at the 1999 Rhythmic World Championships at Osaka,  2001 at Madrid and 2003 at Budapest, also the 2002 Rhythmic European Championships in Granada, Spain and the 2003 World Championships of artistic championships in Anaheim ...

Patrick was born January 13, 1969 and graduated in Biological Sciences from Stanford University in California. Patrick was a detailed, innovative professional photographer of sports and dance.
He was much loved by photographers, gymnasts, dancers alike. He was known for creative studio photography of rhythmic stars Tamara Yerofeeva and Anna Bessonova of Ukraine.
Patrick's split leap image of Anna Bessonova was the marque poster for the 2003 Deriugina Cup in Kiev.
Patrick's editorial clients included: USA Gymnastics Magazine, International Gymnast, Sports Illustrated for Women, Real Sports, Dance Spirit, and USA Today. Commercial clients included Longines Watches and more gymnastic federations (UKR, GBR).
