FIG: Acrobatic World Cup cancelled!

* f i g - news --: The Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup event slated for Maia (POR) on March 4-6, 2011, was cancelled.
The Portuguese Gymnastics Federation deeply apologises for having to make this decision so late in the game; a slew of politically-oriented obstacles arose within the local organisation making it impossible to hold the event.
The Portuguese Gymnastics Federation strongly believes in the strength and future development of Acrobatic Gymnastics, and is committed to presenting a bid for a World Cup or other relevant international competition as soon as their internal problems have been solved.
