Toyota International at the end of the 2010 Season

Japanese winners at home

The subsequent competition of the legendary Chunichi Cup with a history of more than three decades is the "TOYOTA International" now, which took place last weekend at the Toyota City, near Tokyo and which closed the 2010 international season of artistic gymnastic events.
Two-time world all-around champion Kohei Uchimura won the gold medal on floor and the silver on horizontal bar and his teammatem Kazuhito Tanaka was the best on parallel bar.
The other winners were: Louis Smith (GBR) on pommel horse, Yan, Mingyong (CHN) on rings, Thomas Bohail (FRA) on vault and Zhang, Chenglong on highbar.

... Russia's All-around world champion Aliya Mustafina was the best on women's side, winning on vault and floor exercises - here together with China's Sui, Lu ...

Australia's world champion on beam Lauren Mitchell won also in Toyota city and beat Mustafina and Sui Lu.

On uneven bars dominated Jiang, Yuyuan (CHN) in front of Anna Dementyeva (RUS) and Yu Minobe (JPN).

Altogether the Japanese gymnasts bagged a total of 10 medals at the Toyota Cup, China's athletes won four golden...
