Top Class International Artistic Gymnastics
The German Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen invites again to the 35. anniversary of the "International Leverkusen Cup 2010", which will held at Saturday, October 6 at the "Smidt Arena" of Leverkusen in Germany.
The German host anticipate a strong field of international teams of women's artistic gymnastics, so for instance from Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Slovenia, Republic of South Africa and of course the team of host Germany, of course and, just now announced, also the national team of Uzbekistan, which will do its last test before the Worlds in Rotterdam.
More than 2,000 viewers in the venue, that was the top standard in the last years at this oldest European international artistic gymnastics event on such a top level

The long-time chieg organizer, Dieter SCHULZ, who found this traditional competition in 1976 (!) is able to look forward for more than 2,000 spectators again, because this is not only a wellknown top adress of artistic gymnastics in Germany but also a top event of the international gym calendar!
The German Squad will start with the German Youth Champion of 2010, Maike Roll, who ranked 8th at the this years European Youth Championships in Birmingham (GBR). Also in the team will be Cagla Akyol, (German Youth Champion) and Adina Hausch, all-around fourth at the national champs.

This was the atmosphere last year, when the all-around winner, the Mexican Junior Champion Karla SALAZAR started her floor exercises:
From Lettland, from the sports school Ventspils, will come a team with Dojana Likova, Sabine Gosha und Sabine Kornijanova an.
Slovenia will be present with a team of the partner city of Leverkusen, from Ljubljana, with the gymnasts Tjasa Kysselef, second placed at the World Cup of Doha 2009, Teja Belak, and World Cup winner in Marior 2010 and Fiona Novac, balance beam finalist of the World Cup in Porto 2010.
Also Italy, Great Britain and Netherlands will come with interest young girls, who all will distinguish themselfes in the run-up to the Olympic Games in London, 2012.
So these 35th anniversary of the 2010 Leverkusen Cup will be a very interesting competition on top international level!
