.... when in Glan-Münchweiler, the home community of the
gym wheel inventor Otto Feick, a newly built roundabout with a gymwheel was to be made in memory of the famous son of the community.
The responsible heads of the community initially wanted to see this by means of a model, which would later stand on their roundabout.
For this reason Oswald Zimmermann actually built a sculpture, which now gleams on the roof of his locksmith workshop.
Even though the
„Zimmermann-globe“ was largely favoured, it's realisation never took place...
