After the start of the Grand Prix-Series 2010 in Moscow already in February, the 2nd Grandprix took place this weekend in Kiew.
Russia arrived without its stars due to the overly full international competition calendar and "only" sent Daria Dmitrieva, who won the all-around competition (109,350), but remained without an apparatus win.
Thus it came to a novum that only not-Russian gymnasts signed into the winner lists, Anna Gurbanova (AZE) even did so twice ...

In the official competition of the elite-category, there were 22 gymnasts from 17 nations. The German speakers were not represented. Apart from the Russian top gymnasts also for instance Japan was missing.
In the junior competition there 24 gymnasts from 21 countries participated.

Unfortunately we can only give short reports on the Grand Prix competitions at the moment, since despite many years of aiming for trustworthy partnership with the "Grand Prix Committee" we have not accomplished this. So our own Website which was especially installed > www.rhythmic-grandprix.com is only available in a modest manner, since the previous sponsors have shown little interest.
GYMmedia therefore concentrates more on the FIG-World Cups. We would be happy to give more attention to the Grand Prix's again, if we see that there are more requests! * - the Editors
