Series winner Japan wins the International Junior Team-Cup for the 5th time


And again the European juniors were frustrated with the success of the japanese young gymnasts qualities :
For the 5 time in a row,  JAPANS young league won in Berlin in the big sports hall at the Weißenseer Weg also the "15. International Junior Team Cup 2020" and showed off all its new talent:
With 247,350 points the Japanese quartett won ahead of SPAIN I (245,750) and SWITZERLAND (244,350). Like in the previous year the host assortment of  the SC Berlin managed the best German representatives on 7th position out of 26 teams in total from 17 nations and 3 continents.
A strong impression was made especially by the Spaniards, who had the singles winner of the Juniors Fabian Gonzales.
Here too the best gymnast from Berlin in the Juniors Philipp Herder (80,950) with a strong 6th place  ...

The guest of honor from Switzerland, the 90-year old Hans Tschudi, who was once led Egypts national team 1952 to the Olympic Games to Helsinki, was happy that even Jordanien attended with a team, even if they were far behind on last place:
".. no matter which position one takes in the end, but it shows that gymnastics is also developed there where one invests in the youth"- said the Senior, whom the Berliners engaged in the prize giving ceremony.

The Japanese showed their strength in the younger age groups, where they had the best and most balanced all-around athlete Daisuke in the young age group category...:

1. IGUCHI, Daisuke  (JPN)  - 81,500
2. YUSOF, Eddy         (SUI)  - 81,300
3. DOWERS, Tariq  (CAN)  - 80,500

4. WEINERT, Daniel  (GER; Kiel)  - 78,950

The whole Japanese team prepared the bars - and the smallest, Kenta Chiba, (ri.) was the best in the end!

Niklas Niethack, Philipp Herder, Viet THao Hoang: the Berliner at the end on 7th place!
