Europeans of Artistic Gymnastics 2010: Drawing of Lots

The 2010 32nd European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics for Senior and Junior Men and Women will take place at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham from 21st April until 2nd May 2010. The nominative entries have to be submitted by April 7th, 2010.

* April 19 - 20:                         Podium Training
* Apr 21, 10.00 - 22.30 hrs: Junior Qualif.& Youth Olympics Qualifying)
* Apr 22, 10.00 - 21.00 hrs: ELITE Qualifying
* Apr 23, 16.00 - 18.30 hrs: Juniors all-around 
* Apr 24, 14.00 -17.00 hrs: ELITE Team Final
* Apr 25, 09.30 - 12.10 hrs: Junior Apparatus Finals 
* Apr 25 . 14.00 - 17.15 hrs: ELITE Apparatus Final

* Participation: 40 national federations with 169 male elite and 167 junior gymnasts.(Nominative registrations: 31 March 2010)
* Elite’s category (16 years min.): .. the qualifying competition I for the team final and C IV and for the apparatus finals C III, but without individual all-around competition (as every even year).

* Juniors (14 to18 years) : a decisive competition I for the team result, the qualification for the CII (individual all around competition) and for the CIII (apparatus finals) as well as for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The juniors born in 1993 and 1994 can qualify for the YOG, except those who have already participated in senior’s competitions.

* The nominative entries have to be submitted by April 7th, 2010.
* Qualifications for the YOG as in all Olympic disciplines, the European Championships are qualifying for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be held in Singapore.
* Only junior gymnasts born in 1995 can participate in the qualifications for the YOG 2010, except those having already competed in senior events (FIG, UEG, WCp, etc.).
