4th Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships 2009

Gymnastics Federation of Kazakhstan organized the 4th Seniors Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships 2009 in the beautiful Sport Complex – National Tennis Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana - Kazakhstan during the period 15th – 18th October 2009. Eight affiliated national federation of the "Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) participated to this event
Japan, Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand and India. The Rhythmic Gymnastics FIG technical committee President Mrs. Maria SZYSZKOWSKA was present to this event which the technical level was very high and give us the following results:


Khazakhstan made a big domination by winning all the 6 gold medals of the event with the beautifull gymnast Aliya yussupova. 

Four Federations received a part of the medals as the following:
1- Kazhakstan: 6 gold medals
2- Korea: 1 silver and 2 bronze medals
3- Uzbekistan: 3 bronze medals
4- Japan: 1 bronze medal
