With the win of the British vice- world champion of the all-around discipline Daniel KEATINGS in Hanover, part three of the so-called "Championstrophy" was brought to an end. He stepped above the 19 year old Romanian Flavius KOCZI who achieved second place with 89,125 points and the world championship 5th Maxim DEVIATOVSKI (87,675) from Russia, who at the moment has the best prospects for the total win in this series of four parts, which will be completed in Stuttgart in November. Fabian Hambüchen who was in the lead until now, was onlz a guest in Hannover - on his 22nd birthday, due to an injury and will definitely not be able to take part at the final event. Also Philipp Boy from Cottbuss will not be able to participate. Their replacements are Marcel Nguyen (5.) and Helge Liebrich (6.) ...

The fourth and last event of this series the Championstrophy 2009, which began in
Frankfurt (1st June), and continued in the
Berliner Max-Schmelinghalle (20th September) , will take place in the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart on the 15th November 2009.
There it is not only about the prize of 15,000 Euro each, but also the total winner will get a
Mercedes SLK in value of 50,000.- €.
