GYMfamily Event! Friendly Meet: USA women s team beats German s at home

For the first time after the political changes the German women's gymnastics had a friendly meet with the Olympic silver medallist of Beijing 2008, the national team of USA. It was the eights friendly meet between both nations in history! Four weeks after the 2009 Europeans in Milan, Saturday, May 2, the competition took place at the RWE Rhein-Ruhr Sports Hall in Muelheim, Germany. 
The US team won the competion in a predominant manner against the young german team with 232,40 : 219,700 points.
TOlympic team silver medallist Bridget Sloan was the best in all-around (59,550), best German gymnast was Kim Bui on sixth place (55,750).
