At the beginning of the new Olympic cycle the
30th European Championships for Women and the
31st Men's Europeans for the third time listed as "Individual Championships" by the European Gymnastics Union (UEG).
The Russian Ksenia SEMENOVA won the fourth all-around title for Russia, but on men's side Fabian HAMBUECHEN won the very first for Germany, and after winning the title on floor the Germans finished their most successful chanpionships. On women's side Beth TWEDDLE was the only one gymnast winning two gold medals...:
