Yves KIEFFER

As of January 2009, the Frenchman Yves KIEFFER will be the new head coach of the GymnastiekFederatie Vlaanderen, the Flemish section of the Royal Belgian Gymnastics Federation has announced.

'Topgymnastiekhal' in Ghent - opened in 2001, June

Yves KIEFFER*  will be assisted by his wife Marjorie HEULS as well as Valentina SOLDATENTKOVA and Iouri KIRITCHENKO.
Yves was, among others, coach of Emilie LePennec (gold uneven bars OG 2004) and led the French team to 6th place at the Olympic Games in Athens and at the 2007 World Championships.

In Ghent - at one of the most modern artistic gymnastics centres in Europe, which was opened  in the year of the Worlds 2001 - gymnasts are now being prepared for the 2012 Olympic Games.


With this team of coaches, the Gymnastiek Federatie Vlaanderen wants to play an active role in elite women's artistic gymnastics and ensure that the gymnasts are given optimal coaching and guidance and thus have every chance of achieving international success.
