AEROBIC GYMNASTICS IN TURKEY
In the course of an international meeting, the German Sport Aerobic Team of the TSG-Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Germany Palatinate) travelled to Selçuk / Turkey, nerby Izmir in October 2008. The team of Neustadt participate there, together with a chummily Turkish competition group, on the “1. ARTEMIS EPHESIA INTERNATIONAL GYMNASTIC FESTIVAL”.
2,500 spectators barely find places in the completely packed sports stadium of Selçuk.
The audience supported euphorically the three presenting nations from Turkey, Greece and Germany ...

The Group from TSG Neustadt was the only one German team this year at the ouverture of this new tradition and presented their newest aerobic and dance show programs with all the 16 participants of this club....

... at any time: All the gymnastics discilines are growing up boring in Turkey!

In total 250 participants presented a spectacular rainbow of performances with elements of Hip Hop, Aerobics, Dance and Acrobatics.
Prof. Dr.Seyhan Hasirici, initiator of the International Meeting and this Festival, was acting as translator.
With his help, the youth and sport exchange between Turkey and Germany has started in 2006 and nobody wants to miss it no longer.
Last year, in 2007, the sports club “Zuhal Fitness” from Turkey visited the TSG Team at home in Neustadt, Germany.

They did some exercises together and had a lot of fun with different cultural and leisure activities. It was a great experience for all participants from Turkey and Germany.

Sport - as a bridge for intercourse!
So the Sports were again an excellent bridge for the international understanding.
