PREVIEW: New Trampoline World Cup, new WC Rules ...

... new World Cup Rules!

After the last world cup circuit finished with the last world cup final last weekend in Togliatti, now the next Trampoline World Cup Circuit will start with
the first event in Loule, Portugal, which will host  a trampoline world cup to the third time, after 1999 in Avira and 2001 in Espenho ....

Athletes from 20 different nations will compete, but the top nation China will miss this event!
To the same time will held the traditional "Loule Cup", which includes also the disciplines double minitramp (DMT) in different age groups (U 13, juniors & open).

What's  N E W  in F.I.G  WORLD CUP RULES...?

* The FIG World Cup Series
- ...will be held on an annual basis rather than on a bi-annual basis. 
-  ...will not be finish with a world cup final event! 
- ... in future winners will be determined based on the World Cup Series rankings.
- ... the rankings will be based on the points earned during all WC's of the year, rather than on points earned in World Cups and other international events such as world championships.

- ...  will feature a minimum of 3  and a maximum of 8 WC events;
- ... will be comprimised of the same category (- no longer A or B cat. like in the past);

-  ... includes a ranking key for 1st place = 50 points) to 16th place = 6 pts.) ( 50 - 40 - 30 - 25 - 23 - 20 - 18 - 16 - 14 - 13 - 12 - 11 - 10 - 9 - 8 - 6;
 17th  to 30th: 1 point.)
* The  best results from a maximum of 4 World Cups will be taken into account for each athlete;
- The World Cup AWARDS will hand over after the last event of the circuit(ties in the rankings will not be broken).
