Aerobic Gymnastics: Pierrick Charilas Tragically Killed

At the age of 30, Pierrick Charilas perished with his nearly four year old son. A sports educator, he made his home in Lognes, in the Seine-et-Marne area, and specialised in aerobic gymnastics. Pierrick was a member of the French Aerobic Gymnastics Team until 2003. He was a Silver and Bronze medallist at the 2001 and 2003 European Championships in Group competitions. He also participated in the 2002 World Championships in Klaipeda (LTU). The entire international gymnastics community feels the sting of Pierrick's death, and addresses its most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
