At the "3rd International Aerobic-Club-Meeting" in the gym of the Friedrich-Schiller- Grammar school in the city of Eisenberg, Thuringia, Martina Perlacova from Slovakia won in the categoriy "Individual Women" with 18,90 points, curt before Czech Katerina Hortova from Brno (18,900) and her compatriot Zuzana Stavjanova from Zlin (17,600). Lena Bartschies from Hannover ranked fourth with 15,800 points.
>> A total of 28 clubs from 8 countries participated in this important international Aerobic-Event, which has been initiated and organised by Germany's extremely energetic Aerobic-federation ATV Eisenberg.

International atmosphere at the club-meeting 2008 in the modern gym of the Friedrich-Schiller-Grammar school: A routine in the GROUP-category

After the qualifications in the category "Individual Women", in which alone 72 (!) women and girls in all age groups and seniors participated, among the adults Katerina Hortova was leading in front of Petra Prudilova (both CZE) and Martina Perlacova (SVK).

The competition was a chance to test new choreographies in front of international judges before the approaching World Championships, not only for the international guests. The German WORLDS-candidates had to prove their good shape as well in order to get the sought-after ticket to Ulm or to confirm an already accomplished qualification.

"About 1000 thrilled spectators could experience how the Aerobic gymnasts from different countries presented themselves in the first big international competition this year", says director of the competition Michael Grabitz in the evening.

A lot of the routines have been made for the approaching World Championships in Ulm (Germany) in the end of April and are complete, but have been presented with some mistakes in them.

Grabitz continues: "But all participants are on the right way! Germany does not have to hide facing an international comparison. However, other countries have shown that they do care more about their junior gymnasts and work much more than we do with their juniors."
