French National Coach being attacked ...

According to French media reports, now a French court has agreed to hear the complaint against national head coach Yves Kieffer brought by the family of 16-year-old gymnast  Cloé Briand (right). Kieffer has asked to "temporarily" step down from his post.
French media published this week, that the board of the French Gymnastics Federation (FFG)  asked its President Jacques Rey to take action to absolve the French women's artistic gymnastics coach YvesKieffer from his duties ....

At the 2004 Olympic Summer Games in Athens Kieffer led the French women's team to its best results, especially as the personal coach of 2004 Olympic uneven bars champion Emilie Lepennec and world and European medallist Isabelle Severino ...
But since 2006 the parents of former junior team member Chloé Briand have made public accusations of abusive coaching, so Kieffer has come under fire for his strong-arm tactics. According to the family's complaints, there are only two gymnasts remaining because of Kieffer's tactics.
