Russia on top at all Categories of AEON CUP 2007

After the total triumph at the rhythmic worlds in Patras also at the 2007 AEON CUP, which was held in Tokyo last weekend, all the gold medals went to the absolutely leading nation Russia, again.

Team GAZPROM won in front of the Derjugina School (Kiev, UKR) and DINAMO Minsk and the Russian top stars Olga KAPRANOVA and Vera SESINA were the best in all-around.

The Ukrainian all-around worldchampion Anna BESSONOWA mades same mistakes and got bronze, followed by her teammate Natalia Godunko...

Olga KAPRANOVA said:  " It is good for Russia. I think the coaches were really satisfied with these results, I'm feeling so glad".
Anna BESSONOVA, the reigning all-around world champion from Patras 2007 said after the competition: "I wasn't satisfied with this result. But I'm really happy to be Aeon cup every year. And I thank all fan for support for me so warmly ."


Russian junior Alexandra Ermakova, made big mistakes at the 2nd round - her ball jumped out of floor (18.500 points, only) - but  her Russian teammate, the double world champion of Patras (rope and ribbon) Vera Sesina - said: "It is first time for Alexandra to participate such a big competition.So I think she was so nervous. But tommorow,she will perform with good concentration....!"

She won the juniors all-around with a big difference of more than six points to the Ukrainan Daria Kushnerova:

Big pleasure for the Japanese hosts:

Kana Yokoyama came on 3rd place and is the very  first medalist at the Aeon Cup. She stand on an honour platform at ceremony, very happy and with with tears in her eyes .... !
