Dassaeva (ESP) and Ao (CHN) win Gymnastic Aerobics Finals

Jinping Ao (CHN)

The twenty year old Spaniard Elmira Dassaeva - best of the 2005 World Games - was the surprise winner of the F.I.G. World Cup Final (2005-07) in Rodez, France, in front of Arianna Ciucci from Italy.
The title of the men's category went to the world champion (FIG) from China, Ao, Jiping.
The Italian mixed pair Giovanna Lecis / Wilkie Satti Sanches beat the pairs from France (Aurelie Joly/Julien Chaninet) and China (Jinxuan/Shijian).

The Romanian Trio (Brinzea/Mavrodineanu/Zamfir) ranked first in front of China and France II and the best men's group was the Sextet from China...

Winning two titles and altogether four medals China was the most successful nation of this FIG World Cup Final 2007, which concludes the circuit since 2005,
followed by the athletes from Romania, Italy, Spain and host France.
The five stations of these Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup Series were:
- Borovets (Bulgaria),
- Bangkok (Thailand),
- Clermont-Ferrand (France),
- Mexiko City (Mexico) und
- Sofia (Bulgaria).
Altogether 23 nations participated at this FIG final.
