Sports Aerobics World Cup Final in France

fig-news: -- The FIG and the French Gymnastics Federation have just signed an agreement binding France to organise the third final of the Aerobic Gymnastics World Series 2005 - 2007. The competition will be a one-day competition on May 12, 2007, at the Centre Sportif de l'Amphithéâtre in Rodez (Aveyron), nestled in the south of France....

The good news was announced by Mr. Jacques Rey, FFG President, and thrilled scads of Aerobics fans throughout France. When interviewed about such a positive development, the discipline's Technical Committee President, British John Atkinson, expressed his intense satisfaction on behalf of all the athletes. He hailed the efforts and commitment of the French Federation as well as its faithful partnership since the discipline's very beginnings within the FIG in 1995 when Paris organised the premier world championships in Aerobics.
