The Heathrow Open International Club Championships

The "Heathrow Aerobic Gymnastics Club" is hosting Britain's first Aerobic Gymnastics International Club Championships on the 16-17 September 2006 and is delighted to announce that teams from Spain, Germany, Austria, Sweden and India have signed up to take part, as well as 10 clubs from the UK....

The Heathrow Open International Club Championships 2006
will be held over two days at Bracknell Leisure Centre, Bracknell, Berkshire, England.

The RAC and NAC competitions will take place on Saturday 16th September and the FIG/ International teams will compete on Sunday 17th September 2006....

Heathrow ‘s decision to host this event follows the success of the first International Club Championships held in Germany by club ATV Eisenberg back in February.
Heathrow AGC sent a team to Germany for this event, which was both developmental and enjoyable for the gymnasts, several of whom had not competed abroad before.

Bracknell is just outside West London and is easily accessible from the London airports – this makes the location of the competition ideal for clubs coming from abroad.
The Austrian team has already planned a day trip to London as part of their visit! It is hoped that this inaugural event will become an annual fixture in the international aerobics calendar.
