Pan American Games 2006: Canadians won two senior s Gold
Canada wins two gold medals at the 2006 Pan American Trampoline Championships, which were held in Monterrey, Mexico last week.
Two-time Olympic medallist Karen Cockburn and Jason Burnett - all of Toronto - won gold medals last weekend at the Pan American trampoline championships.
In women’s trampoline, Cockburn took the title with 37.3 points. She finished ahead of Brittany Dirck of the U.S., in second at 35.7 and Rosannagh MacLennan of Toronto third at 35.5. .
In men’s trampoline, Burnett earned 38.9 points finishing ahead of two Americans. Martin Myers of Toronto was also in the final placing fifth:

In junior competition, Philip Barbaro (CAN) won the men’s trampoline gold with 36.4 points. Philip Devine of the U.S., was second at 34.7 and Kyle Soehn of Red Deer, Alta., was third at 33.2.
Kailey McLeod of Toronto added a silver medal in women’s junior trampoline while Samantha Sendel of Toronto was sixth.
