African Union of Gymnastics goes online

Welcome in Internet!

In these days the 'African Union of Gymnastics' started with it's own new website.
It is a historical days for the 'UAG' and its President Mr. Mohamed Yamani said: 'It's a small step in the information world, but a great step to the African Gymnastic Union!'
Step by step the new internet address www.uagym.org will store a huge amount of documents, rules, calendars, pictures, event reports, which will be posted and available for the Union Members and the public. A website is also a welcome desk, a visit card and a wonderful communication tool for the whole African Gymnastics Union.

'African Union of Gymnastics' (UAG)
Fifteen years ago the African Gymnastic Union was born in Algiers.
Since then, i.e, 1990, UAG moved from 8 African federations, normally affiliated to IGF and UAG, to 24 created federations including 14 taking part regularly in our activities ( - from all together 54 African countries).
Concerning of the Championships, UAG moved from two (2002) specialties (men's and women's artistic gymnastics) to five (2005) specialties: Additionally rhythmic gymnastics, trampolining and tumbling - both in juniors and seniors categories for the whole of the specialties.
The still young Union is today running a great number of events and shows its passion and motivation.
From Wilaya in Algeria, to Kloof / Durban in South Africa, all gymnastics activities are spectacularly increasing, allowing Africa to take all benefit of this on the international Gymnastics scene.
