GRAND Prix Triple Triumph of Vera Sesina at Gity Cup 2006 ....

To the first time the traditional 'GiTy Cup' this weekend was a part of the Grand Prix Circuit 2006.
Sunday's final decisions of elite was dominated from the Russian Vera Sesina, who made a triple triumph with ball, clubs and ribbon, every time followed by the Belarus Inna Zhukova.
The first apparatus, rope only, was won by the Russian star, the Olympic Champion Alia Kabaeva, in front of her teammate and compatriot Vera Sesina.
Third places went to Ukraines Natalia Godunko (Rope, ribbon), Anna Bessonova (clubs) and to Aliya Yussupova from Kazakhstan.
Sunday's forenoon were held the juniors finals with a triple success of the Czech host and the victory of the German Karolina Raskina with the clubs...

Most successfully Vera Sesina was in a very good and top form, and Russian coaches said, that she will be a Russion favorite for the this years European Championships, which will held in September in Moscow...
Kabaeva was a darling of the audience again, but she had to fight very hard for this rope's victory against a strong competitition rivalry.
Shurly her form was not 100 % - in yesterdays all-around competition she made three mistakes and came on six place only, but every time it's a special happening to see her performances ...

Outside of Grand Prix today took place the all-around juniors category of the CiTy Cup:
Leading after qualification rounds are two gymnasts from the Czech host:
Míčková Monika with a score of 93,050 Punkten in front of her team-mate Radiměřská Nela (92,433), both from 'SK GiTy MS Brno'.
On third place followes the German Karolina Raskina from TSV Schmiden (88,733).

Míčková Monika from Brno was the most successful junior gymnast of this '2006 GiTy Up': After winning the all-around yesterday she won also the finals with rope and ribbon.
Her teammate Radiměřská Nela won the final wtih hoop and the German Karolina Raskina from TSV Schmiden was the best with clubs...
