The last international test before the Aerobics World Championships (2nd to 4th June, Japan) won at weekend in the FIG World Series in Clermont Ferrand in France Ivan Parejo from Spain!
He won surprisingly this tournament (with the traditional French Aerobic Open) before the world rankings first Vito Iaia (ITA) and Jingping Ao (CHN). Title applicant and local matador Gregory Alcan landed only on rank 4.
In Women the brazilian Marcela Lopez sovereign on the first place. She won also in the last year the title. Second became Ana Macanita (POR), bronze was for french woman Aurelie Joly (FRA).
