Sports Acrobatics Year 2006...

The Portuguese city of Coimbra will welcome the 20th Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships, June 14 - 17, and also the 4th International Age Group Competitions, June 21 - 24.
Hundreds of gymnasts are coming to compete in a city rich in history with a strong Middle Age and baroque influence....
In ACRO, the hierarchy was set the day after the 2005 World Games competitions in Duisburg. But since last summer, there have been a number of changes. Certain gymnasts have taken leave while others are in the spotlight for the first time ever.

Just a few days from the provisional registration deadline (January 21), number of federations are ready to go for both the Worlds and the Age Group competitions.
And before Coimbra, acrobats will be able to have a look at their performances at the important World Cup stage in Puurs (BEL), the Flanders Cup, April 13 - 16. phs
