'It is great to know I am sharing the amazing experience as a member of the New Zealand team with athletes I train with day in day out.' New Zealand Olympic Committee Secretary General Barry Maister says it's impressive to have such a large team heading to Melbourne.
'This shows the quality of the programmes in place at New Zealand Gymnastics and we believe these athletes will perform with great credit at the Games.'
'The NZOC has been working hard to ensure all athletes in the New Zealand team are given a top quality Commonwealth Games experience and we will create an environment in the athletes village that will allow all athletes to perform to their best,' said Maister.
