A Gymnast is Olympian of the Yera in Malaysia

Men's artistics gymnastics sensation, Ng Shu Wai and the women's badminton doubles pair of Wong Pei Tty and Chin Ee Hui were named the winners of the 2005 Olympians Award in a glittering ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The ceremony held at the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM)'s Indoor Sports Complex here and which also celebrated OCM's 13th Anniversary, was attended by more than 700 people from the sporting fraternity....

 NG, Shu Wai (21), who is currently the world's ninth ranked artistic gymnast, won three personal golds at the at the recently concluded Sea Games in Manila, sweeping the All-around, floor exercise and high bar as well as a fourth in a team event.

In the process he became the first Malaysian male athlete to win more than two golds in gymnastics in the Sea Gamnes.

At the 38th World Championships in Melbourne NG, Shu Wa was the first Malaysian in an all-around final and ranked on 22nd place.
