This month British Gymnastics signed a seven-year sponsorship deal with the Korean electronics brand LG. The sponsorship has been designed to promote its new range of Direct Drive washing machines that have been designed with the core values of balance and agility – values they share with the Gymnastics’ teams.
The sponsorship, designed to support the team in the run up to the UK Olympics in 2012, positions LG as the ‘British Gymnastics National Sponsor’ and specifically ‘Sponsor of the British Rhythmic Gymnastics Squad’.
Moving forward all the British Rhythmic Gymnastics Senior and Junior squad’s team clothing and accessories will feature Direct Drive branding as the team takes part in 7-10 major international events per year including the World Championships, European Championships and World Cup Qualifiers....
This sponsorship announcement coincides with the launch of the LG Direct Drive washing machines. This exclusive new range has been created using state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge design. The top-of-the-range machines are built with a unique Direct Drive motor system that lowers noise and vibration by 18%, provides a larger wash capacity and triple energy efficiency for the ultimate care for your clothes.
