German Junior National Team back from US Training Camp
After eleven days of practice at the Olympic Centre of the US National Olympic Commitee did the young athletes of the German junior team return home from Colorado Springs on Wednesday.
Beside of an official meet against the hosts was the main cause of the trip the practice together and the sharing of experience and practice methods with the US-boys...

Training Camp at the Olympic Centre of the USA
Colorado Springs, USA - As already reported in the
news from the Junior Meet USA - Germany followed a one week training camp in Colorado Springs. The practice conditions at the Olympic Training Center were excellent and was similar to the conditions at the German trainingcamp in Kienbaum, nearby Berlin.
The seven German junior athletes practiced together with about 30 young gymnasts from the USA at the age of 12 to 18 and almost their 20 (!!) home coaches took part at this course of instruction!
Of course the visit was also a superbly possibility to get to know the country and people. There was next to a shopping tour also a day trip into the mountains around Colorado Springs on the program. Our boys saw within many other things the Royal George Bridge - the highest cable bridge of the world.
A great Thank You to all clubs, sponsors and gymnasts which made this trip possible. The German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) could only pay parts of the trip (caused of the 'promotion group 4', the lowest promotion level in Germany ).

A special Thanks
goes to the German national team member Robert Juckel from SC Cottbus, who gave, over his personal sponsor ''Erima'', warm coats in a worth of 1.000 Euros to the complete delegation
This trip brought next to new training methods a lot of motivation to the boys for upcomeing tasks.
