23rd CHACOTT CHAMPIONSHIPS 2005

From 22 to 23 October,the 23rd Chacott CHAMPIONSHIPS was held in Tokyo.
This competition is the 'National Japanese Junior Championships' for individual gymnasts and also for groups.

The all-around winner and new Japanese Junior Champion 2005 is Haruna Masunaka (NPO Gifu RG Club) followed by her teammate Kana Yokoyama on second place.
The Chacott Group title wents to the Women's RG Club ...

The winner Haruna Masunaka, but also Kana Yokoyama presented their performances really flexible and charming. And their exercises are suited to act difficulty and artistic value.
Haruna Masunaka was succeded in All Japan Club Championships this summer. She drew a lots of attention of the rhythmic gymnastics public in Japan.

The all-around third place went to Riko Anakubo from 'Aeon Club'. She is a blessed gymnast for her ability and style, she is one of the most expected rhythmic gymnastics junior in Japan. But this time she made some mistakes again. However, it showed us that every gymnasts have their chances to be a winner. So the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games could be a really exciting, not only for European but also for Asia area!
