GWG-Cup: Lithuanian and German winners in Cottbus

It was a new event record:
138 gymnasts from 20 countries took part at the 20th anniversary of one of the biggest European Tournament for male artistic gymnastics talents, the 'INTERNATIONAL G W G - C U P' in Cottbus, also host city of the wellknown world cup event 'Turnier der Meister' for the elites every spring.
The German hosts succeeded to present the same top conditions for the young boys, like for the world stars, so the delegations from everywher confirmed at the end of these two competition days. Top talents from New Zeeland, from Japan and Italy came to the first time and promised, to come again.
So the athletes from these contries were also under the best in the different age groups...

AA-Winner of the age group of the 11 - 14 years old boys
was the Lithuanian champion´of the 2004 'OBI-CUP' in Berlin, Rokas Guscinas (14) from Kaunas, followed by Michael Koudinov . Misha is coming from the Gymnastics Center of Oakland and is coached by his father Alexander, a former Russian coach, who changed eight years ago from Cherkesk to New Zeeland.
The third place were won by Kota Sato, a 14 years old boy from Tokiwa Gymmnastics Club from Ibaraki, a city in the nort of Tokyo.
