16th ANAC International Aerobic Championships

Aussies win Sport Aerobics Gold at ANAC

The Australian Sport Aerobics team achieved outstanding results at the ANAC International Aerobic Championships. A total of 3 Gold and 1 Silver medal were won by Australian athletes. This is Australia 's best performance at an international Sport Aerobics competition.
The event was held in Los Angeles at the Manhattan Beach Marriott Hotel from the 13th-17th August 2005. Over 250 athletes from 18 countries competed in the youth and senior divisions of competition.

Kieran Gorman (WA): Senior Individual Male 1st
Martin Warren (QLD): Age Group 1 Individual Male: 1st
Samantha Rowney, Eloise Kane, Emma Davies (WA): Age Group 2 Trio 1st
Chelsea Carroll (WA): Junior Showcase Individual Female 2nd
Eloise Kane (WA): Age Group 2 Individual Male 4th
Emily Sharp (SA): Senior Individual Female 15th
The team was headed by Kerryn Cormick and coached by Anthony Ikin. Karon Williams was Australia 's representative judge on the judging panel.
