European Championships in Protugal: First general meeting

Coimbra hosts the 1st meeting between the principle partners responsible for the organisation of the 2005 Aerobic Gymnastics European Championships and Fitness Convention (October 27-30), namely the UEG, the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and its Organising Committee (OC) as well as the representatives of the city of Coimbra.

This meeting will be decisive as to the organisation or not of these events in the city of Coimbra. The Event Sports Hall planned to host the event will be inaugurated in April, and is therefore new and multifunctional in terms of use, something that would be specifically necessary for the UEG aerobics and fitness Events.

... Organising Committee, to review the further necessary steps that must be taken for the organisation of the event. The next important planned visit to Coimbra will be organised from June 3-6, 2005, when the Aerobics Technical Committee will hold its meeting to visit the Sports Hall and work on the last technical aspects of the Championships and Convention.
