On weekend from 8th to 10th April to be held at the World Expo in Nagoya-Aichi (Japan) the 15th Suzuki World Cup 2005 - organized from the International Aerobic Federation IAF. The Suzuki Cup is one of the most prestigious Aerobic competition in the world. 133 aerobic athletes from 24 nations and five continents start here in four categories Individual Women, Individual Men, Mixed Pairs and Trios.
Titeltholder from different aerobic competitions (World Cup, European and World Championships) - the most of course from the FIG - meet in Japan: Marcela Lopez from Brasil (photo) won the Suzuki Cup 2004 in front of Angela McMillan (New Sealand) and the World Champion and Japanes Yuriko Ito (Japan). In Individual Men won Gold in 2004 Jonathan Canada from spain in front of Gregory Alcan from France and Israel Carrasco from Spain. Additional in Japan take part many other top athletes also from the USA, from Thailand, South Afrika, Columbia, Singapure, Indonesia, Argentinia or Korea.
In 2003 the International Aerobic Federation signed an agreement with the FIG. and the IAF competitors are using FIG. rules 'Code of Points'. Therefore also FIG athletes can take part oficialy in IAF competitions.
