First finals day in Cottbus is over

The first finals’ day in Cottbus is over and the audience got to see high-quality performances. The victory on floor went to Switzerland with Patrick Dominguez. On pommel horse Marius Urzica presented another great performance in his career which clearly secured him the victory. The first place on high-bar went to Isao Yoneda (JPN), a slight mistake cost Fabian Hambüchen (GER) all chances on the victory.

In the women’s field the young Brazilian talent Lais Souza won on vault, Oksana Chusovitina fell on the second vault and therefore couldn’t repeat her good performance of the qualification.
