Preview: 1st Aerobics World Series Competition in 2005

In Sofia (Bulgaria) take place the 1st World Cup this yaer

The Aerobic Union Bulgaria invites from 18th to 20 March into the Universiada Hall of Sofia (Bulgaria) to the 'SUPRAVIT Bulgarian Aerobics Open', an FIG World Series Competition. It is the first Aerobic tournament this year and also the first international contest with the new directions of the FIG, the 'Codo of Points'. Parallel to this World Cup of the B-category also take place International Youth Championships.


Great interest in first international Aerobic test

This first important tournament this year the world best Aerobic athletes cannot be escaped: Not only the officiating World Champion Angela McMillan (New Zealand, Photo) comes to Bulgaria where she won last year the Worlds title. Also the multiple World Champion Yuriko Ito from Japan is there. This time Ito does not start in the Women Individual but rather very newly in the Mixed Pairs.

Further important nations as well as Spain, France, Russia, Austria or Hungary are with the best atletes in Sofia. Bulgaria take part self-evident with the complete national team. In addition come also Aerobics from Italy, Mexico, South Africa and unexpected from the Mongolia.
